We used to go to Kam Sen in White Plains but, it's closed. They have most of what we were looking for inventorywise & prices were more affordable than other smaller themed grocery supermarkets. It's my favourite supermarket in Albany-Capital Region.

We were able to see the Chinese characters from the street to turn into the parking lot. There was a nice size parking lot and there were many cars there. The carts require a quarter to release. The lock showed 1 dollar in Chinese, but US quarters worked fine. The cart was on a smaller size and drifted sideways around the store if I wasn’t holding on to it. Inside the store there was a small bakery with sponge cakes, birthday cake, rolled cakes and pineapple bun. There was also roast pork and other prepared meats in containers and some hanging up. There were frozen foods along the L perimeter of the store going from the front to the back then left of the store. I stocked up on dumplings, tang yuan (black sesame filled glutinous rice balls), steamed pork buns, fish balls, and dared to get natto (fermented soy beans noted for health benefits). My friend wanted to make spicy peanut butter noodles so we got laoganma chili crisp oil, chili oil, sesame oil, and mushroom flavored soy sauce in the sauce section. There was a huge variety in small to mega sized sauces. We got five different kinds of pocky (double matcha, chocolate almond, coconut, peanut butter, etc). There were more than fi

Love this Asian market, so much variety of different types of food. Parking is always easy to find, and it’s not hard to enter the actual parking lot. I love reusing cardboard boxes to carry the food, since I love reusing, reducing, recycling. Again, lovely Asian market!

This is a staple for the Capital Region. Huge selection of Asian groceries. Fresh and diverse produce. Prices are more then fair. I love this place.

This Asian supermarket in Albany is fantastic! The store is clean, well-organized, and has a huge variety of Asian groceries from fresh produce and seafood to snacks, frozen items, and hard-to-find ingredients. Everything is neatly stocked and easy to find. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the products is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. It’s my go-to place whenever I need authentic Asian ingredients or want to explore new foods. Highly recommended for anyone in the Albany area!
